Hearing the heartbeat for the first time
So we heard the heartbeat of our baby for the first time. It was thrilling. A fast, strong little heartbeat. I can’t wait to find out if we’re having a boy or girl. We get to find out in a couple weeks through a 3D ultrasound. I just want to know so I can start on all the fun stuff, like setting up the nursery, registering for baby items and such. It will be so much fun! Thrilling news! The morning sickness is still persistant and continuing but it’s much better than it was weeks ago. I think of morning sickness as the baby saying hello to me each day. A little bit of baby time to let me know he/she is doing alright. Soon we will know the sex of the baby and everything will seem that much more real so we can talk to it by name and begin the silly things like reading books to it and singing nursery songs.
