Deciding when to take a pregnancy test
It may sound strange but the timing of when you decide to take a pregnancy test can be a big deal. I recently had a miscarriage but think I may be pregnant again however I am scared to take a test because I’m afraid that something could happen again and I’ll be depressed and miserable again. It’s almost like the not knowing is better. That way if something does happen to happen again I won’t be as disappointed. I’ve talked to other women who have had miscarriages and they have all felt the same way, the first pregnancy you’re so excited by that positive test that nothing else in the world could matter. And then the unthinkable happens and you’re left in a constant state of worry when thinking about trying again. I really do hope I am pregnant again because we want a baby so badly, but if not or if it happens again we will just keep our chins held high and hope for the best. One day we will be blessed with a child.
